Just for kicks, I looked at the coupons they sent. One out of thirteen coupons may be relevant to me! Examples of the coupons include wood flooring, home security system, etc. This is not relevant to anyone who rents an apartment.

There has to be a business solution for this – personalized coupons delivered electronically. So if you want coupons, why not have a simple way to indicate what you may be interested in and receive coupons that are 100% relevant to you. Looks like a few websites are trying to tackle this: CouponCabin.com and MyCoupons.com

If there was a way to ‘beam’ my coupon from my iPhone to the retailer…now even I might actually use coupons.
